How do we become more like our Lord? Great question as with any relationship it starts with knowing the other person better. To do that we do life together and learn what the Lord commands of us and how we realign our life to His plan. We offer many different studies and times of fellowship to do just that. 

Baptism & Surrender

The Bible commands us to be baptized after we trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. It is a public profession of an inward transformation that happens at the moment of salvation. Each and every example of a person being baptized in the New Testament was a person of an age of accountability and able to declare Jesus is their Lord. This first act in a person's faith walk gives God the glory as we declare we are His. If you are wanting to learn more about baptism or are ready to be baptized please let our leadership team know or speak with the Pastor.

Ownership over Membership

Our faith walk and being part of a faith family, (the local church) is active and not passive. We are led by the Lord as the Head of the church, but we must obey His commands and also fall under godly leadership as a body seeking to do God's will together in unity. We must own our faith, our love and serving each other as we wait for our Lord's return. How does Victory function, what is my part in the body, and what do we believe God has designed for us is all part of Ownership. We offer this twice a year, so please register and consider being part of the faith family.

S.H.A.P.E.

Our shape class is a way to understand who each of us are in God and His design on our life. We do this by understanding our spiritual gifts, abilities, our personality, and experiences as part of our whole being. Knowing God's design on our life aligns us with His Plan and what we find it is our "sweet spot" in God's Kingdom that each one of us has a role.  

Victory offers a twice a year conference after a Sunday Celebration covering who God created you to be. A lunch is provided as we see each of us are created with unique gifts, hearts, abilities, personalities, and experiences. Knowing your SHAPE helps one understand God's plan for your specific life. Discipleship Pathway @ VICTORY CHURCH 

Do ever wonder how do I go deeper in my faith walk? Every one of us has pondered that at some point in time. It would be great at the moment we trust in Christ we got a clear cut path to grow in faith. We know that we follow the Lord, but even that leaves many more questions. Faith is surrendering our lives to God and trusting His love and plan for our lives over our own control and human reasoning. Faith is actually defined in the text as "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot yet see."  

At Victory we want everyone to experience victory in their faith walk by drawing closer to the Lord and Savior. We prescribe to a path demonstrated in Scriptures. It includes Biblical principles of spiritual growth in a way that makes sense and draws one deeper into their relationship with Jesus on His terms. God doesn't make us with cookie cutters so our experiences differ from one another, but Jesus did say we must obey Him to be a true follower. Of course our pathway is not all encompassing and doesn't replace in anyway God's path for you, but it does share the critical steps along the way demonstrated by the Apostles in their teaching. 

Join with us and onramp where you need, as we grow together into fully surrendered followers of Christ. The goal is to be like our Lord more and more until we go to be with Him in eternity.  Making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior begins every believer's journey which is to be followed by public baptism as Jesus demonstrated. Steps like church belonging in Ownership, understanding one's shape and ways to serve, and bible studies await those willing to follow the Lord. Along the way we grow closer to Jesus and more like Him as well.
